Louisville Vegan Jerky was founded in Louisville, Kentucky in 2012 by Stanley Chase III. Chase was making vegan manapua and forgot to set the timer, accidentally overcooking his bbq soy protein, and inadvertently creating the first batch of Louisville Vegan Jerky.
