Weird but compelling September 15, 2016
Reviewer: method from usa
Your enjoyment of this food will be based on your expectations. Don't think Tofurky sausage or about any meat really. The consistency is like pate and it tastes like... a pate made of peanuts and tomatoes. At first I was put off because I didn't know what to make of it. After opening it I put it in the refrigerator and found that it tasted better chilled. I eat it on crackers and have actually come to crave it now.

Just awful! December 15, 2014
Reviewer: Zaphod
We bought these wishing to have a familiar taste during the Holidays of a roll that we could put vegan cheese and olives atop crackers. No matter what we tried, this remained really just awful to taste. I would not recommend this to anyone, sadly. It's not worth spending any money on.

Add some spices and pan fry May 11, 2013
Reviewer: jerseyjenn from nj
It has the texture of liverwurst, for those wondering. I cut a small piece and had it on a cracker and it tasted like mushy overcooked broccoli. As you can imagine, it wasn't that appealing at first. I was ready to donate the rest of the sausages, but then I decided to cut a few pieces into discs and pan fry them in a little coconut oil and chopped garlic. I added some chik-style seasoning, pepper, onion powder, and chili powder and crisped up both sides. I ate it in a sandwich with sauteed kale and lemon juice, sauerkraut, and a little vegan mayo. It was great. I'm very happy now to have this meat alternative.
