These were just awful--terrible taste, strange, spongey texture. I threw them out after making a large tuna salad.

Satisfied.... Finally! January 16, 2015
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from MA United States
I have been craving a Tuna Melt for 19 years, but I just couldn't bring myself to eat a real one. I tried another brand of mock tuna about 12 years ago, but it left me sadly disappointed. It more closely resembled canned cat food, but even my cat's wouldn't touch it.  I cautiously tried this product and was pleasantly surprised!  My nearly 2-decades long craving has FINALLY been satisfied!  I wouldn't compare the un-doctored mock tuna to the real thing (It has a more subtle taste/smell than the real thing... as I remember it anyway), but add some mayo, cheese, bread...  It made for a very tasty tuna melt!  I did add a bit of celery salt as well.  I'm glad to have finally found a good substitute that doesn't go overboard with the fishiness in an attempt to fool. Yum!

I love it! September 27, 2014

Okay guys this is NOT tuna.. DUH so don't expect it to taste like fish. For me this is as good as it gets: long shelf life, easy to store, easy to prep.... You will need to had your favorite vegan ( or non vegan mayo) and other items to dress it up onions, celery, pickles, etc. Remember to press the water out of it after you cook it!

I suggest:
Kelp
Herbamere
Old Bay Seasoning
