These delicious vegan / vegetarian "chicken" breasts are great for baking, breading, frying, grilling and more! Endless possibilities with this large "chicken" fillet!

Broth mix is included in the package. Just add 4 cups of water and simmer for 25 minutes. Once they are rehydrated, you can bread them and make fried "chicken," coat them in BBQ sauce and grill them, serve them on a sandwich, or slice them up and mix them with all your favorite recipes.

Cooking Tips:
"How do you cook Dixie Diners' Chicken (Not!) Breasts?" Follow these tips for great results!
1) After rehydrating, press out as much liquid as possible.
2) After pressing out the liquid, refrigerate overnight for a realistic "meaty" texture.
3) Saute the refrigerated product in a little oil and re-season.
4) We recommend adding Chik-Style Seasoning for a realistic "chicken" flavor.

Tried these last night and really liked them a lot!  They with the seasoning in the packet, just toss the whole thing into boiling water.  I was pleasantly surprised at the authentic texture.  Not spongy at all.  The flavor was quite good since they boiled with the seasoning that came in the packet.  I ended up using them in a pasta dish but I can easily see browning them in skillet or putting BBQ sauce on them and using for sandwich.  This product will be a staple in my pantry now.
